The Toaster Oven Door has a Gap

  • Our ovens are intentionally manufactured with a small gap (approximately 1/8”) along the door to allow for excess steam and heat to escape.
  • It is necessary to allow some heat to escape for the unit to maintain the set temperature.
  • This also allows the heating elements to cycle on for long enough to brown the outer surfaces of your food.
  • Many people prefer food cooked in a counter top oven compared to a microwave because the set temperature is maintained.
